Razer has announced the launch of the much-awaited Razer Phone 2 with powerful features and specifications. The main attraction of the Razer Phone 2 is the integration of a 5.7-inch QHD display coupled with Snapdragon 845 processor. Moreover, the handset is integrated with dual stereo speakers.
The Razer Phone 2 is equipped with a 5.72-inch IGZO IPS display with support for HDR and DCi-P3 color gamuts. The screen provided an ability to extend the brightness of the display up to 580 nits, which helps you to visualize content when compared to the original counterpart. On the internals, the Razer Phone 2 features a Snapdragon 845 processor, Adreno 630 graphics, 8GB RAM, 64GB UFS storage loaded with Android 8.1 Oreo upgradeable to Android 9 Pie.
Talking about the camera, the Razer Phone 2 comes with dual camera mechanism comprising of 12MP primary and 12MP secondary telephoto lens. The selfie camera offers an 8MP sensor paired with a f/2.0 aperture. The rear camera provides support for OIS, Dual Pixel AF, and 2x optical zoom.
The handset is powered by a 4000mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 4.0+ and wireless charging at 15W speed. In addition to 4G VoLTE, the second edition of the Razer Phone provides support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and GLONASS. The speakers included with the Razer Phone 2 are enabled with Dolby Atmos. Moreover, the phone is resistant to dust and water via IP67 technology.
The Razer Phone 2 is available for pre-order starting at $800. If you would like to buy premium Satin Finish model, you will have to pay $900. The company also announced the launch of accessories such as Razer Wireless Charger, a case made of leather and Kevlar including a tempered glass screen protector.
