Xiaomi has launched Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus tablet in China in Gold and Black color options. The main attraction of the Mi Pad 4 is the addition of a 10.1-inch display coupled with a massive 8620mAh battery. The tablet also provides a dedicated AI-powered Face Unlock functionality and will be available starting August 16.
On the specifications front, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus is equipped with a 10.1-inch WUXGA display, Snapdragon 660 processor, Adreno 512 graphics, 4GB RAM, 64GB/128GB internal storage powered by an 8620mAh battery. The rear side features a 13MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture, while the front-facing camera offers a 5MP sensor. The tablet is pre-loaded with MIUI 10 based on Android 8.1 Oreo operating platform.
In addition to 4G LTE, the Mi Pad 4 Plus provides support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, GLONASS including a USB Type-C port. Moreover, the tablet includes an AI-enabled Face Unlock capability and a fingerprint sensor. It’s rare to find a fingerprint sensor on the tablet and hence Xiaomi has found a sweet spot for the sale.
