Coolpad Mega 5A With Android 8.1 Oreo Launched In India

Coolpad has announced the launch of the Coolpad Mega 5A in India as offline exclusive. The main highlight of the Coolpad Mega 5A is the integration of a 5.45-inch 18:9 display coupled with Android 8.1 Oreo platform. Moreover, the handset features dual cameras on the rear.

The Coolpad Mega 5A is equipped with a 5.45-inch HD+ (1440×72) 2.5D curved glass display, Spreadtrum SC9850K processor, Mali 400 graphics, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage loaded with Android 8.1 Oreo. You will be able to expand the storage up to 64GB via MicroSD card slot.

The rear side features dual cameras comprising of 8MP and 0.3MP sensors respectively. The camera is inadequate when compared with competing handsets. On the front, the smartphone bears a 5MP sensor. The phone draws power via the integrated 2500mAh battery.

In addition to 4G VoLTE, the Coolpad Mega 5A provides support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and all other connectivity features. The phone comes with a dedicated fingerprint sensor and Face Unlock capabilities. You will also find the presence of a headphone port using which you can listen to music.

The Coolpad Mega 5A will be available starting August 16 in Gold color variant at Rs 6999. The device will be available only in offline stores across Haryana, Telangana, Maharastra, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, and Karnataka.
