Huawei has officially launched the much-awaited Huawei Enjoy 8 in China. In addition, to Enjoy 8, the company also launched Enjoy 8 Plus and Enjoy 8e smartphones. The main attraction of the Enjoy series is the addition of a display with the trending 18:9 aspect ratio, dual rear cameras coupled with Android Oreo operating platform. Moreover, the device ships with Snapdragon 430 processor.
Talking about the specifications, the Huawei Enjoy 8 is equipped with a 5.99-inch HD+ (1440 x 720) 2.5D curved glass FullView (18:9) display, Snapdragon 430 processor, Adreno 505 graphics loaded with EMUI 8.0 on top of Android 8.0 Oreo.
The budget-friendly smartphones will be made available in both 3GB and 4GB RAM variants. While the 3GB RAM is available with 32GB storage, the 4GB RAM bears a 64GB expandable storage. The interesting fact is that you can extend the storage up to 256GB via microSD card slot. Furthermore, the device is backed by a powerful 3000maH battery.
The Huawei Enjoy 8 features a dual rear camera comprising of 13MP sensor and 2MP secondary sensor with support for f/2.2 aperture and LED Flash. ON the selfie-front, the Enjoy 8 features an 8MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture and LED Flash.
In addition to 4G VoLTE, the Enjoy 8 also provides support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS including a fingerprint sensor. Unlike iPhone X, the phone bears a traditional headphone port.
The Huawei Enjoy 8 with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage is priced at CNY 1299, while the 4GB RAM model with 64GB storage will cost CNY 1499. the device is only available in China and we don’t have any information about when the company will launch the handset outside China.
