Motorola has launched the much-awaited Motorola Edge+ smartphone long with the Edge variant. The core feature of the Motorola Edge+ is the integration of 12GB RAM alongside 256GB UFS 3.0 storage. While the Motorola Edge is powered by a Snapdragon 765G processor, the Edge+ ships with Snapdragon 865 processor. The Edge comes with up to 6GB RAM, while the Edge+ offers up to 12GB RAM. The Motorola Edge+ provides support for Verizon 5G Ultra Wideband. The Edge+ borrows all the operating features of the Edge handset with additional support for custom settings including advanced controls for music, videos, and games.

Motorola Edge+ Specifications

The Motorola Edge+ features a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED HDR10+ display with a resolution of 2520×1080 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone carries an aspect ratio of 21:9, which helps you to read large content in a small form factor. On the internals, the Edge+ is powered by a Snapdragon 865 processor, Adreno 650 graphics, 12GB RAM alongside 256GB UFS 3.0 storage. The handset is pre-loaded with Android 10 operating platform.

Talking about the camera department, the Edge+ is integrated with a 108MP (f/1.8) Primary Samsung sensor with support for OIS and laser autofocus. The secondary camera segment is accompanied by a 16MP (f/2.4) ultra-wide-angle lens and an 8MP telephoto lens sensors with 3x optical zoom support. You will be able to shoot 6K and 4K videos at 30fps and 60fps respectively. You will be able to shoot selfies via a powerful 25MP camera sensor with support for LED Flash. The Edge+ borrows power via a 5000mAh battery with support for 18W wired and 15W wireless fast charging technologies. The company also offers 5W wireless reverse charging functionalities.

In addition to 5G, the Microsoft Edge+ provides support for 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC coupled with stereo speakers. The phone offers USB Type-C port for not only charging but also for audio purposes. The entertainment power comes from Waves with the capability to deliver two days of battery life.

Motorola Edge+ Pricing & Availability

The Motorola Edge+ is available for a one-time purchase without a contract at $999.99, which equates to INR 77000. You will have to pay $41.66 per month for 24 months if you opt for on contract agreement. The handset is available starting May 14 via Verizon in Smokey Sangria and Thunder Grey color variants. The Edge+ will hit European shores in May at $1296, which comes around INR 99200. You can also buy Edge+ in the UAE and KSA. You can expect the launch of the handset in India and Latin America.
