Oppo has launched Oppo A83 (2018) smartphone in India. Touted as an upgraded version of Oppo A83, the newly launched Oppo A83 (2018) is equipped with a bezel-less display with Helio P23 processor. Priced at Rs 15990, the Oppo A83 (2018) will be available for purchase via both online and offline retail channels.
The Oppo A83 (2018) is equipped with a 5.7-inch HD+ FullView 2.5D curved glass display with 18:9 aspect ratio with a resolution of 1440×720 pixels. Under the hood, the 2018 edition of the Oppo A83 features an Helio P23 processor, ARM Mali G71 MP2 GPU, 4GB RAM, 64GB expandable internal storage loaded with ColorOS 3.2 on top of Android 7.1 Nougat. It is possible to extend the storage up to 128GB.
Commenting on the launch, Will Yang, Brand Director, OPPO India disclosed that the new smartphone is being launched based on the feedback gathered from the general public after the release of the Oppo A83. The company has gone one step ahead to release an affordable selfie camera with all the advanced features. The addition of AI technology coupled with enhanced storage, improved performance and color options.
The rear side offers a 13MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture and LED Flash, while the front-facing camera ships with an 8MP sensor alongside f/2.2 aperture. The AI technology is capable of scanning over 200 facial recognition spots, which helps you to beautify the selfies with accurate clarity. The device also includes face unlock capability using which you can unlock the handset easily.
Powered by a 3180mAh battery, the Oppo A83 (2018) smartphone provides support for 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, GLONASS including a traditional headphone port. The handset will be available in Blue, Red, and Gold color options from Flipkart, Amazon and Paytm including offline stores.
