OPPO has unveiled the much-awaited Reno4 and Reno4 Pro smartphones with 5G support in China. The attraction of the Reno4 series is the integration of the Snapdragon 765G processor coupled with 360-degree surround antenna 2.0 technology. While the Reno4 features a 6.4-inch FHD+ display, the Pro variant ships with a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED flexible display. The screen-to-body ratio is higher in the Pro model with 93.4 percent when compared with the Reno4 at 90.7 percent. The Reno4 Pro offers 90Hz refresh rate coupled with a 180Hz touch sampling rate. Even though both devices provide access to 48MP rear camera, the Reno4 Pro provides support for OIS support. The front camera includes a 32MP sensor but the Reno4 comes with a secondary 2MP depth sensor using which you can snap portraits.

OPPO Reno4 5G Specifications

The OPPO Reno4 flaunts a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED Corning Gorilla Glass display with a resolution of 2400×1800 pixels and up to 600-nits brightness. The refresh rate of the screen is 90Hz with 96 percent NTSC color gamut. Under the hood, the Reno4 is powered by a Snapdragon 765G chipset, Adreno 620 graphics processor, 8GB RAM coupled with 128GB and 256GB UFS 2.1 internal storage. The processor is manufactured using 7nm technology, which reduces the heat to a large extent. The handset is pre-loaded with ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10 operating platform.

The rear side features a 48MP (f/1.7 aperture) Sony IMX586 Primary camera sensor coupled with an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-lens, 2MP (f/2.4) mono lens sensor with support for laser autofocus. The front-facing camera offers a 32MP Primary sensor alongside a 2MP portrait camera sensor with f/2.4 aperture respectively. The smartphone draws power via a 4020mAh battery with support for 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging technology.

In addition to 5G SA/NSA support, the Oppo Reno4 provides support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The addition of USB Type-C port enables you to quickly charge the device. You should note that the Reno4 is backward compatible with 4G VoLTE. Hence, you can make use of your existing 4G SIM card.

OPPO Reno4 Pricing

The OPPO Reno4 with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at CNY 2999 (INR 32000), while the 256GB model is up for grabs at CNY 3299, which equates INR 35200. You will be able to buy the device in Mirror Black, Diamond Blue, and Taro Purple color variants.

OPPO Reno4 Pro 5G Specifications

The OPPO Reno4 Pro boasts a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED 90Hz curved Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protected display with up to 800-nits brightness. The refresh rate of 90Hz has been accompanied by 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut. On the internals, the Reno4 Pro works under a Snapdragon 765G processor, Adreno 620 graphics loaded with ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10 operating platform. The smartphone is available in 8GB and 12GB RAM variants coupled with 128GB and 256GB UFS 2.1 storage.

On the optics, the Reno4 Pro features a triple camera comprising of 48MP Sony IMX586 (f/1.7) sensor, 12MP (f/2.2) Sony IMX708 ultra-wide-angle and 13MP (f/2.4) telephoto lens sensors respectively. The telephoto lens sensors provide support for 5x hybrid zoom and 20x digital zoom capabilities including laser autofocus. The selfie camera offers a 32MP sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The handset fuels power via a 4000mAh battery with 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging technology. The phone includes dual linear speakers coupled with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The device ships with the same connectivity features as the Reno4.

OPPO Reno4 Pro Pricing

The Reno4 Pro with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at CNY 3799, while the 12GB RAM model with 256GB storage is up for grabs for CNY 4299. The company has released several color variants such as Mirror Black, Diamond Red, Titanium Blank, Diamond Blue, and Green Glitter color variants. The handset will hit the retail shelves starting June 12 except Green Glitter color option, which will be available starting June 18.
