Realme has rolled out a new OTA update for Realme 5 Pro and Realme XT smartphones. In addition to bug fixes and improvements, the latest update includes Android April Security Patch for the Realme 5 Pro and Realme XT devices. While the build number for the Realme 5 Pro update is RMX1971EX_11.C.03, the Realme XT grabs the build number RMX1921EX_11.C.04.
The company announced that the update will be made available in a phased manner. If your device is eligible, you will receive the message notification prompting you to download and install the update. The company will push the update randomly to a small group of people followed by a wider rollout. The company is trying to prevent errors and you will likely receive the update within 30 days.
The Realme 5 Pro update with Android April Security Patch brings in DocVault ID functionality. Moreover, the audio quality of several third-party apps has been optimized. The Dark mode provides an arrow to the right side of the list of recent location information requests. The new update also includes bug fixes. The prompt tine will not appear when the music is being played. The company also rectified an issue pertaining to the alarm.
The Android April Security Patch update Realme XT also includes the same modifications and bug fixes as with the Realme 5 Pro smartphone. The update is currently being rolled out via OTA and will be available for all users in a phased manner. Alternatively, you can check for the presence of the update by tapping Settings | Software Upgrade option. The company will also provide the manual download link on the official software update website.
