Redmi Smart TV X Series With Android TV 10 Patchwall UI Launched in India

Xiaomi has released Redmi Smart TV X series in India. Priced at Rs 32999, the Redmi Smart TV 10 is pre-loaded with Android TV 10 on top of PatchWall UI. The TV is available in 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch display variants with support for 4K HDR technology.

Redmi Smart TV X Series Specifications

The Redmi Smart TV X Series provide support for Dolby Vision coupled with HDR10+ formats, which enable the TV to deliver high dynamic range content. The company has integrated Reality Flow and Vivid Picture Engine technologies to boost the viewing experience. The TV supports a wide range of sound formats such as eARC and DTS Virtual:X including Dolby Atmos.

The speakers are showered with Dolby Atmos Audio. The stock Android TV launcher features Google Assistant using which you can communicate with your TV. The PacthWall UI is designed in such a way that it’s content focused coupled with curated dashboard. The Google Chromecast is integrated into the Redmi Smart TV X.

On the internals, the Smart TV X is powered by a Mediatek processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage. The auto low-latency mode is equipped for an improved gaming and performance. The TV comes with triple HDMI 2.1 ports, dual USB ports, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5 and headphone port.

Redmi Smart TV X Series Pricing & Availability

The Redmi Smart TV X starts at Rs 32999 for the X50 variant, while the X55 model is up for grabs at Rs 38999. The X65 variant is priced at Rs 57999. The TV will be available for sale starting March 25 via Amazon, Xiaomi online store, Mi Home, and Mi Studio offline stores respectively. The demand for Smart TVs has taken a significant jump over the past one year because of online streaming services like Amazon Prime Video and Netflix. The COVID-19 lockdown has forced filmmakers to release their creations via online platforms and hence the demand for premium Smart TVs is on a higher side.
