Samsung has confirmed the launch of the much-awaited Galaxy J6 (2018) on May 21. The main attraction of Galaxy J6 (2018) is the integration of Infinity Display coupled with thin bezels and 18:9 aspect ratio. According to reports, the company has started to mail media invites for the launch event of the Galaxy J6.
The Samsung Galaxy J6 will be equipped with a 5.6-inch HD+ AMOLED Infinity Display with a resolution of 1480 x 720 pixels and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. It is to be noted that the aspect ratio is similar to that of the Galaxy S9+ series. We can also expect a notch display similar to that of the Oppo F7 and Vivo V9.
Under the hood, the Galaxy J6 will be integrated with Exynos 7870 processor, 2GB/3GB/4GB including 32GB/64GB expandable internal storage. The 2GB RAM model will have 32GB and will cost less than other RAM variants.
While the rear camera will have a 13MP sensor, the front-facing camera bears an 8MP sensor with LED Flash. The device will be pre-loaded with Android 8.0 Oreo on top of Samsung Experience. A powerful 3000mAh battery with fast charging support supplies the required power for the handset. An interesting aspect to point is that the device will provide support for Samsung Pay.
Samsung is also planning to launch Galaxy J4 with a 5.5-inch HD display, Exynos 7570 processor, 2GB/3GB RAM, 13MP rear camera coupled with a 5MP camera. We also have reports that the company will launch the Galaxy A6 (2018) and Galaxy A6+ (2018) smartphones on May 21. The upcoming smartphones will compete with the likes of Honor and Xiaomi.
