Performance

Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy S9 will ship with 4GB/6GB RAM paired with 64GB expandable internal storage. The devices will be powered by Snapdragon 845 (US) and Exynos 9810 (India) processors. It is to be noted that both processors are more or less same except the change in the name.

According to reports, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9 will be capable of upgrading to 400GB storage instead of 256GB. There are also reports that the company will unveil either a 256GB or 512GB storage. The phone will be pre-loaded with Android Oreo 8.0 on top of Samsung’s Touch Wiz alongside Samsung Bixby digital assistant. Samsung will most likely improve the Bixby processing engine and will be able to recognize local languages.

We expect the integration of dual rear cameras on Samsung Galaxy S9+ handset. Talking about the Galaxy S9, the device will offer a 12MP sensor. Moreover, the plus variant will have a dual camera on the rear comprising of 12MP sensors. The front side will have an 8MP sensor with LED Flash. The rumor mills indicate that the rear camera will be able to shoot videos at 960fps.

While Galaxy S9 will ship with a 3000mAh battery, the Galaxy S9+ will offer a slightly higher 3500mAh battery. Like in the case of the OnePlus 5T, Samsung will also integrate facial recognition capability with which you can unlock the phone quickly.
