Sony is reportedly gearing up to launch a new smartphone with model number H8616 coupled with the bezel-less display and Android P operating platform. A new Sony Xperia device with model number H8616 has been spotted buried deep inside a user-agent profile listing.
The listing clearly reveals the resolution of the display, which is 3840×1920 pixels. If reports are to be believed, you will be able to experience improved visuals. Moreover, the Android version has been specified as 9.0, which is indeed the successor to the currently available Android Oreo. The upcoming phone also provides support for various ISO standards and languages.
Even though the model number is H8616, we don’t have any confirmation about the name of the smartphone. According to reports, the model could be Sony Xperia XZ3 Premium.
On the specifications front, the upcoming Sony phone could ship with 6GB RAM and 128GB expandable internal storage. While the rear camera will have a 19MP sensor, the front-facing camera offers a 13MP sensor. Sony is well known for the release of smartphones with an excellent camera and we can expect much more in the forthcoming device. There is also a possibility of the company infusing AI-enabled camera sensor.
Like as previously mentioned, the display will be bezel-less and you can expect a reduction in the bezels. Sony could also integrate a notch on the front side, which will accommodate sensors and microphone. we expect the launch of the new smartphone before the end of December or before the MWC 2019.
